She moves in because she believes that scout needs a feminine influence in her life it also seems as though she has moved in because Atticus has the trial for Tom Robinson coming up. She is very strongly opinionated and seems to have to always have her own way.

Aunt Alexandra thinks that Scout need the feminine influence as she is getting older and that Culpurnia is not adequate for doing this task.

She wants to be a feminine influence on Scout and wants to be there for the Tom Robinson trial. She is very nosey and wants to get involved In everything she can to have her say/opinion shown. This is in her nature as she likes control and is very particular on how she wants things done.

aunt Alexandra turns up because she thinks that atticus is a bad role model for scout because she is acting so much like a boy and I retaliation she has taken it upon herself to be her "feminine" role model. she also turned up to see the tom robinson trial. she is very blunt and unaffectionate majority of the time

She wants to associate with Scout more and act as a feminine influence to her. She is also there because the trial is upcoming.

She is very strongly opinionated and seems to have to always have her own way. Scout's Aunt Alexandra moves in to stay with the Finch family for a while as she thinks it would be best for Scout to have more of a feminine influence. She calls Scout, 'Jean Louise, which is Scout's actual name, as she tries to transform her into a lady. Like Georgia said, Aunt Alexandra is depicted as a very opinionated character who believe she knows whats best for everyone.

She wants to be a feminine influence on Scout and wants to be there for the Tom Robinson trial. Aunt Alexandra thinks Scout needs a females influence and that Calpurnia isn't capable of this as she has coloured skin. she also want to enforce her beliefs and the 'beliefs' of all of society and Scout and Jem as she thinks Atticus isn't doing this.
