How would you describe Jack's style of leadership in this chapter? Jack's leadership is very strong and the way the other boys treat him is almost that of a god. Jack sits in the middle of the turf on a large stump, 'throne', painted and garlanded. Jack orders around his tribe and at one point waves his spear and orders some boys to take Ralph, Simon and Piggy some meat. Jack saunters around and clearly thinks very highly of himself for now having what he wanted from the beginning, authority. When he says to sit, the boys sit, when we demands a drink, they give him a drink and when Ralph, Simon and Piggy don't accept his offer of joining the tribe, he is very mad they do not do as he says. Jack believes he is very powerful and he probably does have a lot of power of the majority of boys.

How would you describe Jack's style of leadership in this chapter? In chapter 9, Jack convinces most of the remaining members of Ralph's tribe to join his own tribe. He persuades them by promising them food and protection. "I gave you food," said Jack, "and my hunters will protect you from the beast. Who will join my tribe?" He displays his leadership style in a brutal and barbaric way. He beats a boy for no reason other than to show his power and authority over the boys. It is clear that Jack rules by intimidation. He realizes what it takes to get power and to keep power, at least until someone stronger and more intimidating comes along.

It is clear that he wants to be in charge of everything and is easily intimidated by others. Jack goes to great lengths to try and have power of the boys.

The way Jack shows his leadership in this chapter is by being somewhat like a god to the other boys. He thinks because he is the chief that he has the right to give out the orders. Jack also shows he is very generous by giving the boys, including Ralph and Piggy, a feats of a meat. However, he only does this to make the boys feel like they owe him something in return which would be joining his tribe. The leadership has gone to his head too because, he feels he can punish anyone he wants and this shows when he tells his hunters to grab Samneric and tie them up. He enjoys having some much power.

How would you describe Jack's style of leadership in this chapter? Jack's style of leadership in this chapter is very similar to that of a king or a dictator. He orders the boys around; sits on his stump, which he considers his throne; and gets very frustrated when Ralph and Piggy refuse his offer to join his tribe because they're not doing things the way he wants them to.

How would you describe Jack's style of leadership in this chapter? Jack's style of leadership is less of the way a leader is treated, and treats the people who follow him, and more like a god being worshipped. It is clearly shown that he rules through intimidation, as he commands the boys to do things, not giving them a choice, as they fear what may happen to them if they do not abide by his rules.

Jack's leaderships style is very controlling. he doesn't allow any room for the others' opinions. this is very contrasting to Ralph's leadership which is very relaxed and where he is very open to what the boys are saying.

I think that his whole tribe can be described simply as a dictatorship, Jack being the dictator. He takes what he wants with no regard for anyone else and he is ruthless even to his owns followers.
