Why is the boys‟ attempt to get back Piggy' specs and get the other boys to maintain a signal fire bound to fail?

Why is the boys‟ attempt to get back Piggy' specs and get the other boys to maintain a signal fire bound to fail? The attempts to reclaim Piggy's glasses was doomed from the start. Their plan had them highly outnumbered and they wanted to reason with a group of savages. Jack had implemented rotten ideas into the boys minds that power was everything, and that it was hunt it be hunted on the island. To demand a civilised conversation with these boys was a terrible idea and bound to fail.

Why is the boys‟ attempt to get back Piggy' specs and get the other boys to maintain a signal fire bound to fail? The boys attempt to retrieve the glasses and reason with the tribe were certain to fail from the beginning. First of all, Jack's tribe of boys have all descended into savagry and have lost all sense of civilisation. Second, they don't have any reason to leave the island. They enjoy being on the island and all the freedom they get compared to back in England.

The boys' attempt to retrieve Piggy's glasses was bound to fail because the boys are very outnumbered and since they are savage they wouldn't negotiate or come to an agreement with Ralph's tribe, they'd rather fight for what they want. Seeing as though Ralph's tribe can't get the glasses back, there isn't a way to start the signal fire let alone maintain it.

The boys plan to get Piggys glasses back was bound to fail becuase they were largely outnumbered and trying to reason with a pack of savages. Also, Jack would not let Ralph's group have the object which can start the fires. He would rather no one has it than giving hope for the enemies. So Jack has spoken that hunting is the main purpose, so the other boys would follow him rather than the civilised and uncertain option.

They were massively outnumbered which is the reason why their plan was doomed to fail from the start. Also they would never be able to start the signal fire because the would never be able to start it without the glasses.

Why is the boys‟ attempt to get back Piggy' specs and get the other boys to maintain a signal fire bound to fail? Jack and the boys have declined to savagery and therefore would not want to keep the fire going, as they want to stay on the island. This means that Ralph is vastly outnumbered, and is forced to stand down.

The remaining members of Ralph's tribes attempt to get Piggy's glasses back and get the other boys to maintain the signal fire is bound to fail because they are outnumbered by boys equally if not stronger than them, and Jack hates Ralph and Piggy too much to do what they ask of him.

Why is the boys‟ attempt to get back Piggy' specs and get the other boys to maintain a signal fire bound to fail? The boys were in danger going to Jacks group of savages. They were outnumbered, and walking into a place that Jack had protected and had many weapons around them.

The boys plan to get Piggys glasses back was bound to fail becuase they were largely outnumbered and trying to reason with a pack of savages. I agree with this. I think maybe the reason the boys thought their plan might work was because they still saw the other boys as human, however they were gravely mistaken.

It's true that the savages outnumber them by a lot, but their plan would probably fail anyway, even if there were less savages. The savages are violent and will kill even humans, while Ralph's boys are still civilised and probably wouldn't be able to kill another human. The savages could kill off Ralph's boys easily.
