What trouble did Lennie get into in Weed?

Lennie got into trouble in Weed for not letting go of a woman's dress when he wanted to touch it. The lady considered it rape as he didn't let go even through all of the screaming. George and Lennie hid from the men that were looking for them, and then they ran away.

Lennie got into trouble in Weed for not letting go of a woman's dress when he wanted to touch it. The lady considered it rape as he didn't let go even through all of the screaming. George and Lennie hid from the men that were looking for them, and then they ran away. As Tiffanie said, the woman whose dress Lennie touched, thought that was him trying to rape her. What actually happened was that Lennie panicked when she screamed and didn't know what to do, other than hold on to her dress even tighter and not let go. George and Lenny were forced to flee as they knew they would lose there jobs and George didn't want anything to happen to Lennie that would cause him harm. |

In Weed, Lennie wanted to feel a girls dress, she jerks back in fear and confusment but Lennie holds on. She yells for help and Lennie and George are forced to hide in an irrigation ditch whilst men search for them. With fear of losing their jobs and of Lennie being harmed, the two men leave the country.

Lennie and George left the country as they new that if they didn't they would be caught As Alynda said the reason of why they have to leave the country. Because of the fabric of the dress and the look of it Lennie thought it was as soft as a mouse so when she moved away from him he did what he usually does with mice and held on. |

George reminds Lennie of why he lost their previous jobs was because Lennie started touching a woman's dress and she screamed and considered it rape so they had to quit their jobs and they were chased out of Weed.
