Post a short description (1-2 sentences) giving us one example of how Weir has used CAMELS in the film to convey meaning. You cannot post the same example as someone else! Due Wednesday May 27th! In the form of CAMELS, sound is a big part of this movie & conveys meaning, for people viewing the movie it creates a very dramatic scene & people actually in the movie watching the Truman show it makes it all seem a lot more real.

Peter Weir has used a lot of mise-en-scene in The Truman Show and in one particular example, in the Lunar room, the guards on the doors are wearing shirts that say "Protect Truman". This shows how much the outside world really loves The Truman Show and how dedicated the audience is if they are wanting to go into Seahaven itself.

In the Truman Show Peter Weir uses CAMELS in each scene. A use of this is lighting, one scene were he uses this is when Truman is being reunited with his dad, Peter Weir has low key lighting focusing only on Truman and on his dad.
