If George didn't have to look after Lennie, how does he imagine his life to be?

Without Lennie, George imagines his life to be simple, for him to be at ease, never having to worry about having/keeping a job or Lennie causing trouble. George imagines himself 'even possibly having a girl.' Deep down George is great fun for Lennie, as he much prefers his company, even if he can be difficult, to being alone.

George imagines himself 'even possibly having a girl.' Deep down George is great fun for Lennie, as he much prefers his company, even if he can be difficult, to being alone. Lennie soon realizes that George would love to not have to take care of George, so Lennie says that he can leave him and go to live in a cave by himself where he can have mice and no one will take them away from him

If George didn't have to look after Lennie, he imagines his life to be simple and easy. "I could go get a job an' work, an' no trouble. No mess at all... I could stay in a cat house all night... Get a gallon of whiskey, or set in a pool room and play cards all night..."

If George didn't live with Lennie, his life would be very carefree, he would be able to move from job to job freely, not be worried about getting into trouble and getting his own money and using it for what he wants

If George didn't live with Lennie, his life would be very lonely, helpless, no one gonna care about him, might be he got no job, no food, no love, people turn a blind eye to him, cause at that time this kind phenomenon is too normal, left him die.

George would be lonely without lennie George Said's to Lennie that his life would be simpler without him, because Lennie always got himself into a lot of trouble like what happened in Weeds. He Said's he could forget about Lennie and just worry about his own life.
