Scout blames Walter for being the reason why she got in trouble and so she gets beaten up. Walter was also invited to the Finches place for some dinner, he asked for some molasses and poured it all over his dinner, scout was furious and teased him but Calpurnia talks to Scout and gave her and said that Walter is a guest at the house and he can do what he wants with his dinner. |

Scout beats up Walter due to Walter getting Scout in trouble so she blames him for getting into trouble so scout beats him up and Jem stops the fight. Scout got into trouble for trying to help Walter keep his pride regarding lunch money. She was however misunderstood by Miss Caroline who thought she was just being sassy to the teacher. This leads to Scout beating up Walter. Jem also invites Walter for dinner because he is embarrassed of what Scout did and wants to make it up to him. |
