What reasons does Atticus give for the children not to play the Boo Radley game? Do you think he is right? Why?

He believe that by them playing that game they are tormenting him and that is not far to him to judge him. He wants to try and teach the kids a lesson on respecting other people and leaving them to their own business instead of judging them for keeping to themselves. Atticus believes this is a very valuable lesson.

Atticus wants his children to realise Boo has feelings of his own and that this game they're playing could really hurt a person, also that they should respect others. This foreshadows later on Atticus defending Tom trying to prove that people shouldn't be judged or made fun of due to certain rumours.

Atticus doesnt want the children tormenting Boo Radley as that was unfair on him. He says that what Mr Radley did was his business and that he had the right to stay inside, free from the attention of inquisitive children, and people who judged him because of rumours they'd heard about him.

Atticus tells the children not to play the Boo Radley game because they are judging him without even knowing him. Atticus wants to teach the children to have respect for others and to not jump into other peoples business.

Atticus doesn't want the kids to play the game as they are judging him and actin out on false rumours. It isn't fair to boo Radley. Atticus is right and only wants to teach the kids a lesson to respect others and to mind their own business.

Atticus feels that this game may be upsetting Boo Radley who is trapped inside the house and Atticus wants them to show respect and understanding for the situation.
