Can you find any evidence that Jem is beginning to understand more than Scout about Boo Radley?

We know that Jem has a better understanding than Scout because he realises that someone is leaving trinkets and treasures in the tress for them. Jem notices this but Scout is us till unaware o this and this shows Jem has a better understanding of Boo Radley. He also stands on Boo's porch crying.

He also stands on Boo's porch crying. as jem returned to get his overalls he had found out that someone had mended it and folded it on the front porch he might of known something. Yes I agree that the treasures found in Radley's tree might have been a clue, that he is not the person that people had said that he was, and that he is a nice person. |
