Curley is a very angry, mean man, who only wants to pick a fight with everyone an anything, especially guys that are bigger than him. He can get away with treating and speaking to the workers badly as his father owns the ranch. He is known for being 'handy,' as his a lightweight fighter.

Describe Curley, the boss's son. Curley, the boss's son is thin and small. Upon first meeting Lennie and George, he acts coldly towards the two and assumes a fighting stance with balled fists. He's a very cocky man, (even more so apparently now that he married), and is just a little guy who hates big guys. "Kind like he's mad at 'em because he ain't a big guy." Curley believes in his own mind that he can do whatever and treat whoever however he wants because he knows he can't get fired. |

Curley is a very mean man who picks a fight with anyone, he can get away with anything because he is the bosses son, in the second chapter Curley is annoyed because Lennie doesn't speak to him directly but through George so Curley demands to Lennie that he speak to him directly in the future which senses that he is a very bad tempered, impatient and very rude man.
