How Whites Treat Blacks

Atticus believes that white men should treat black men as equals. He mentions how white men cheat black men everyday because of their race and how it reflects badly on the white men. In regards to that Atticus says, "whenever a white man does that to a black man...that white man is trash".

I agree, it is also the fact that Atticus is trying to eliminate the segregation existent in Maycomb. This will be the backbone for non bias future generations.

This can be displayed when he is defending Tom in court with such passion and content.

Atticus believes that everyone should be fair to one another and there should be no hierarchy between the black and whites. He thinks not only the white people should be treated with respect but everyone.
