What clues does Scout use to figure out it's Boo reclining in the shadows of Jem's room? Integrate a quote into your response. When Scout properly sees Boo is when she figures out that it is him. His appearance is as though it "had never seen the sun." The paleness and hollowness of him proves the stories of how he has been inside for many years.

I agree with what you have said, but I also think that he had a very shy manner in the way that he was hiding which made Scout suspect that it was Boo.

I agree, the way he was hiding in the corners of the room could have also given him away since he's known to hide himself from society.

Scout also doesn't recognise Boo as one of the regulars of Maycomb.
