Yes because Boo he killed Mr Ewell and saved Scout and Jem's lives. The is true, boo radley's shouldn't be put out to the public as he killed a malicious person (bob Ewell) and rescued lives.

Yes because Boo he killed Mr Ewell and saved Scout and Jem's lives. Also because Tate knew Boo killed Bob Ewell not on a personal level, but he did what he thought was morally right. He also didn't want anymore rumors or bad names against Boo.

He also didn't want anymore rumors or bad names against Boo. He knew that if boo were to be convicted of the killing, people wouldn't treat him well and due to his personality he wouldn't like to be around others
