Why does Atticus invite everyone to the front porch rather than the living room?

Because the lights in the living room were too bright for Boo Radley Atticus invites everyone to the front porch rather than the living room as the lights in the living room are too bright for Boo Radley's eyes. As Scout confirms, "I wondered why Atticus was inviting us to the front porch instead of the living room, then I understood. The livingroom lights were awfully strong."

Atticus invited everybody onto his front porch instead of his living room because his living room lights were to bright for Boo Radley.
