Describe the weather at the beginning of the chapter. How might the weather contribute to the mood of the story?

At the beginning of the chapter, Scout describes the weather to be, "Unusually warm... We didn’t even need jackets. The wind was growing stronger, and Jem said it might be raining before we got home. There was no moon." The weather forecast according to Jem and Scout sets the chapter to a mysterious and spooky mood. It kind of indicates that something unexpected will happen.
