They work by picking berries and nuts for the boys. They still seem to be afraid of what's out there, because by night they huddle together to sleep to feel less afraid when they sleep. They don't seem to be as homesick anymore, as tne author tells that they don't cry for their mothers as much anymore

The "littluns" spend most of their day picking and eating fruit, no matter the quality or ripeness. They also play on the beach and huddle together for comfort at night. The "littluns" are quite disconnected from the rest of the boys and they pretty much only interact with them at meetings.

The littleuns are quite separate from the older boys. They spend the day gorging themselves with fruit, playing in the sand on the beach and splashing about in the lagoon. However at night, they are scared of the 'beastie', and huddle together for comfort and to feel safe.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? Life on the island is very different for the "littluns". They mostly just spend their days either playing in the sand or taking a bath in the lagoon. They also spend their time collecting small foods such as nuts and picking fruit. The only time they really interact with the older boys is during meetings. At night they find safety and comfort by huddling close to one another as an attempt to escape the 'beastie'.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? For the 'littluns', life is easy and simple: eating, sleeping, and playing. They eat fruit for most of the day, unconcerned by the quality; huddle together for sleep when they dream of nightmares; and play endlessly in the white sand. They enjoy the assemblies Ralph gathers, but are otherwise separate from the world of the 'biguns'.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? The 'littluns' life revolves around picking food such as nuts and berries to eat. They also play around by the beach. Throughout the day, the interaction between the big ones and them is very limited. However, when night time comes, they all gather up in a group as they fear for their lives with the snake known as the 'beastie'.

The daily life for the 'littluns' is very laid back and relaxed. They eat fruit all day and it doesn't bother them if its ripe. They also play on the beach in the white sand and build sand castles. they have very little interaction with the 'biguns' and only interact with them when Ralph calls a meeting. They 'littluns' also huddle together at night for comfort for when they have nightmares.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? The "littluns" are afraid of what is out there. They, i think, are afraid that beastie still lurks in the depths of the jungle. They huddle together as the darkness of the night posses the island and there minds alike.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? The "littuns" on the island have a very simple, basic routine. They pick berries and fruit to eat, no matter the ripeness or quality as they have grown used to the island food. They also play in the sand and splash in the lagoon. They avoid the bigger boys most of the time and stick to themselves. At night though, they all huddle together for comfort when they are having nightmares.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? The littluns have a very easy life on the island. they don't have to do anything really. They gorge themselves on fruit and play all day but at the same time are terrified at night of the dreaded "beastie".

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? Daily life on th island is peaceful for the 'littluns." They eat fruit, ripe and unripe (often resulting in upset stomachs) and play the the water or on the sand all day. They don't contribute much to the community on the island, only showings he simplest obedience to Ralph and the conch.

What is daily life on the island like for the "littluns"? The littluns' life on the island is pretty easy going and carefree compared to the biguns. The biguns are always moving around the island with some goal in mind, and they're constantly running into groups of littluns that are gorging themselves with fruits or just playing in the sand and not thinking about any work they could be doing to help out. The littluns don't seem to have an understanding that anything bad happens on the island, like how they didn't realise that the birthmark kid was killed in the fire. But on some subconscious level, the littluns realise that something's not right with the island and are afraid of some "beastie" that's living on the island and they have nightmares about it.
