Candy feels pressured by the men in the room forcing him to kill the dog because he is too smelly and too physically unable to do anything He had the dog since it was a puppy. not only did he have the dog since he was pup but, he wish he had shot his own dog himself or just not shot him at all. |

He had the dog since it was a puppy. not only did he have the dog since he was pup but, he wish he had shot his own dog himself or just not shot him at all. this is because he feels responsible for his dog and feel like he let it down in some way. |

Candy didn't want to kill the dog even though it was old and frail he loved the dog because he had since it was a puppy

Candy loves her dog and had had it since it was a pup. Although she loved the dog, Carlson shot the dog because of its scent and because it was no longer able to be used.

Carlson shoots candy's dog because it is old and stinky, when Carlson shoots the dog, Candy wishes he would have shot the dog himself so he would have some closure

once Carlson shot his dog, Candy rolled over and was so very very upset, he felt guilty and wish he had shot his dog himself. He had the dog since it was a pup. |

Candy felt distraught and depressed as he raised it since it was a pup and got apaches and also because it distracted him from the real word even just for a little bit
