How does Candy enable George and Lennie to believe that their dream might become a reality? How will Candy contribute to the running of the ranch?

Candy enables George and Lennie to believe that their dream might become a reality because he said he is more than happy to put his own money in and to live with them. Candy will contribute to the running of the ranch by coking and tendering the chickens and hoeing the garden.

George and Lennie decide to involve candy into their dream of one day getting their own block of land and building a farm and candy even said he'll chip in money for it too.

Candy overhears George and lennie talking about their dream and offers that he if he pay tribute they let him go with them and live free of wondering if he going to get fired or not but he'll still do as much work as he can. Candy pays tribute by offering about $250 from saving his money.
