Candy enters Crooks' room, the first time he has done so in all his years on the ranch. What would he like to do and why?

Candy stands in the door way of crooks room as he does not feel welcome at first. But crooks soon tells him to take a seat. Candy came in to look for Lennie

Candy enters Crooks room for the first time ever and feels a bit awkward because, back then, it was seen to not go into a coloured mans room. Once he is in there, sitting down, he feels the awkward tension of being in there when he isn't supposed and quickly changes the subject to make things feel comfortable again.

When Lennie entered Crooks room, Crooks was really rude saying Lennie shouldn't be there. This was because in this time black people are discriminated. This causes them to be surprised when white people make the effort to talk to them. They don't really trust white people.

Candy came to Crooks room to find Lennie but he didn't feel welcome so he stood outside of the room until he was invited to take a seat inside Crooks room by Crook.

Candy come's into Crook's room which is something he hasn't done in many years and he doesn't feel welcomed at first until Crook's said "take a seat'. |
