Lennie is looking for the puppy's to pat but he is not aloud to pat the animals that's why he is in the barn all alone Lennie is in the barn looking at his puppy that he had accidentally killed. He was showing no empathy towards the puppy, but towards the fact that he won't be able to tend to the rabbits now! |

Lennie is in the barn by himself because he likes the puppies and patting soft things. He accidentally kills the puppy.

Lennie was in the barn to pet his little pup that he got from Slim but he accidentally killed it by 'petting' it way to hard.

Lennie was in the barn patting his pup until he killed the pup, then he was saying that George wont let him tend the rabbits.

Lennie was in the barn playing with the puppy that slim gave him but with his condition he was petting it too hard which it ended up dying
