Why does Ralph allow Jack to remain in charge of the choir? Ralph allows Jack to keep control of the choir because he can see that Jack was determined to become the chief. Ralph can see that he has strong leadership qualities and that he's probably still going to contribute his ideas and try to become a leader amongst the boys. Ralph probably thought that it was better for him to get on Jack's good side because it would be better for him to have him as a friend instead of an enemy. |
