Yes, because he didn't want Lennie to have to go through the pain Curley was going to give to him, such making him suffer until he died.

In a way George killing Lennie spared him the pain of having to deal with Curley killing him because he knew Curley would brutally kill him on site.

yes I believe it was the right thing to do as he was killing to many things already and he could of just kept killing and killing more things if he wasn't stopped

Yes, because if George keeps Leenie around, he won't be able to think about his own life. George wont be able to keep his job and they would have to keep traveling everywhere from farm to farm.

Was George justified in what he did to Lennie? Yes because I believe George didn't want Lennie to suffer and he knew that Curley would make it painful for Lennie.
