Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter?

He is angry because none of the boys will listen to him. He gives so much to the group of boys and gets nothing in return. Everything that the boys start is never finished or is left for Ralph to finish. Ralph thinks that making the "castle" a fort is useless because there is no water, no shelter and no food. The boys say they will get all of those things for the fort, but Ralph knows that the boys will give up after a few days and the fort will be a waste of time. Ralph thinks that they should be putting time into things that matter, like tending to the fire to get them off of the island. Unfortunately, the other boys don't agree and don't seem to care about being rescued.

Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter? Ralph is getting frustrated over the fact that, despite very reasonable logic, the boys don't listen to him when he says that they cannot build fort. As there is no food, clean and drinkable water and no shelter there, it is better just to spend their time doing something useful like going to check on the fire. The boys are really slacking off, and you can tell that they don't like the fact that Ralph is keeping them in order, so you can see the boys act out a little bit after Ralph asks them repeatedly to check on the fire.

Ralph can see that the Castle will not make a good fort when it comes to food, water and protection. However the other boys do not see this and just want the castle because it seems 'cool'. Ralph is tired of not being listened to even though he is the one doing everything he can to help the chances of being rescued.

I feel that Ralph is also slightly angry at himself for almost forgetting his goal to keep the fire going so they can be rescued. He could see the cracks of savagery in himself and I believe this adds to his anger.

Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter? Ralph is very angry at the end of this chapter as the majority of the other boys want to make a fort in the 'castle' rock formation. He wants them to go and light another signal fire however, they are protesting saying that they have plenty of time to spend rolling rocks and constructing their fort. Some boys wanted to leave the castle but just to go down to the beach to pick fruit. Ralph is becoming very angry and almost disappointed I think in the behaviour of the boys and disregard once again for the importance of the signal fire. Ralph says there is no food, shelter of water in the castle for a fort and eventually wins the argument leading them away.

Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter? At the end of chapter 6, Ralph gets angry at the boys because they do not listen to him and instead only care about building a fort atop the "castle". He says that the boys should light another signal fire so they can actually get rescued, but the boys say that they have lots of time to mess about. There is no water or food near the "castle", so making a fort would be pointless and damage their hopes of getting rescued as a ship may pass by and there would be no fire. Ralph is angry and frustrated that the boys care more about having fun than being rescued.

This can be taken as a sign of poor leadership, or loss of control, as Ralph is slowly losing grip over the boys.

Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter? Ralph is angry because no one is listening to him and his ideas. Whenever he suggests something, the boys agree and start to help but after 5 minutes stop and he is left to do it all himself. The boys arent listening to reason, and it's begin to frustrate Ralph. Because the boy's are lacking trust in Ralph they begin mucking around

Ralph is angry at the end of the chapter because none of the boys are listening to him because once they get an idea in their heads they can't think about anything. That's how it was when they thought they needed to build a fort on the castle. They didn't think about the fact that there wasn't any clean drinking water, food or shelter around near the 'castle'. When Ralph said this to the boys, they said that didn't matter. Ralph was also angry because none of them listened to him when he said they needed to go and build up the signal fire again so they could get rescued. He is very disappointed in the boys behaviour.

Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter? Ralph is angry because none of the other boys listen to him. He knows what is the right thing to do, but now matter how hard he tries to convince them, the boys just want to have fun. the boys just don't seem to want to get off the island.

Why is Ralph so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter? Ralph is so angry at the other boys at the end of the chapter because yet again they don't listen to his authority. They all want to make camp at castle rock as they see it as a perfect fort and ignore Ralph's logic when he argues there's very little fresh water and no food there.

Ralph is being ignored by the boys when he is being the rational and sensible one who has the right idea. I feel sorry for him and I understand how frustrating that must be for him.

Ralph is getting mad because none of the boys are listening the ralph. The boys would rather muck around then to try to get off the island
